MOERI¡¯s Hyperbaric Chamber |
| |
|
MOERI has a double-ended monobloc type hyperbaric chamber and will establish plate yoke type (automatically operated) hyperbaric chamber in 2009.
This facility can reproduce pressure conditions of the deep sea down to a 6,000-m depth . It is used for the pressure-resistant test to increase the reliability of deep-sea instruments and materials. And testing in this facility can save lot of time and money for qualifying deep-sea instruments. |
