Deep Seabed Mining Laboratory
MOERI¡¯s Deep-seabed Mining Laboratory
The construction of the Deep-seabed Mining Laboratory(DML) was completed in December, 2005. The features of DML are the soil-water tank, the electrically controlled carriage, the automated mixing device of artificial soil, the electric power supply system, the ceil hoist crane, pumping system for water supply and discharge, collector model preparation space and annex room for test preparation, and so on. The capacity of the electric power supply system is 250kW of 3,300VAC.
